"Schools can’t resume this year, you people should forget it"- See as Nigerians React to NCDC update

For a while now, Nigerians didn't seem to bother to concern themselves with the daily NCDC report of the coronavirus cases in the country.

Each time the NCDC announced the new update via their official twitter account, Nigerians overrun the comment section with "follow", "I follow" tweets, in a bid to gain more followers on twitter. This was not the case today.

When the NCDC twitter account tweeted the update, it took less than an hour for the hash tag "#378 in lagos" to trend as the number 1 topic on TwitterNG.

This certainly got the attention of Nigerians. In a time where the government is relaxing lockdowns and giving hopes of reopening schools and religious centers, the numbers have taken a massive boost, the like of which we've never seen before.

Many are now worried that, in light of this new outrageous numbers, schools might probably not be opened again this year.

This is now very serious, what do you think is the way forward ? Should the government ignore this and allow people continue with their daily lives or should another total lockdown be enforced ?
