1. Buhari Approves Reappointment Of Professor Danbatta As NCC’s Boss
President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the reinstatement of Professor Umar Danbatta as Executive Vice Chairman of the Nigerian Communications Commission and NCC for another five years.
The re-appointment of Professor Danbatta is based on the recommendation of Dr Isa Pantami, Minister of Communications and Digital Economy under the Nigerian Communications Act, 2003.
In a statement, Communications Minister Ms. Uva Suleiman said, “Dr. Pantami wishes Professor Danbutta and instructed him to substantially improve the overall functioning of the Commission and to establish appropriate mechanisms.
